Here is the link to the Christmas song we are learning: you can practice the song at home.
Yesterday we started the lesson linking numbers that were written on the board. We also learned the prepositions from and to. Go from number seventeen to twuenty four.
Next, we were working again on the possessive adjectives. Remember? My book, your coat, his ball,
her hat, our bikes, their dog.
We did an exercise from the book and then we listened to the recording to make sure we had not made any mistakes and also to practice listening.
After the break students were learning a Christmas song: Santa is Coming to Town. We listened to the song, then students read the lyrics aloud, a few lines each and after that we listened to the song again and sang it. They all did a GREAT JOB.
The last half an hour we started learning the names of clothes. Students already knew some of them, but there were other words, like tie, gloves, scarf, vest, jeans, belt, shoes and boots that were almost new for them. We played a memory game with the clothes cards.
Good for David, he was the only one who had done his homework, and he made some pretty drawings too.
For next day you should know the song quite well so we can get ready for our Christmas celebration.
And don´t forget, Santa is watching you, so BE GOOD¡
